Micaela Schiff, LSCW
Reaching out for support takes courage, and finding the right therapist shouldn't feel like another stressful task. My practice is built on a simple belief: therapy works best when it’s a genuine partnership, not a clinical checklist.
I am here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can drop the mask and just be yourself. Since earning my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Hunter College, I have spent my career helping individuals navigate the heavy stuff—whether that’s anxiety, depression, or the lasting impact of complex trauma.
I don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all" solutions. Your story is unique, and your therapy should be too. In our sessions, we will:
- Build a real connection: I focus on empathy and trust first, so you feel safe exploring difficult thoughts and emotions.
- Find what works for you: We will use evidence-based techniques to build practical coping strategies that actually fit your lifestyle.
- Focus on resilience: My goal is to help you move from just "surviving" to truly thriving, with a deeper connection to who you are and what you want out of life.
Whether you are trying to heal from the past or just need support navigating a difficult transition, I am here to walk that path with you. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, self-aware, and empowered.
*INSURANCE* I'm Out Of Network with all other major insurance companies. My office offers a superbill to be submitted for OON reimbursement and will assist in verifying benefits. I additionally offer a sliding scale rate. Please reach out to learn more.
