Having practiced psychotherapy since 1999, Emily specializes in working with young adult women. Using strength-based, solution focused therapy techniques, CBT, and mindfulness, she incorporates experiential approaches to her work. Emily is also trained in EMDR and Somatic Psychotherapy.
Many of the University of Colorado students Emily works with are experiencing anxiety and feel overwhelmed. This is Emily's primary area of focus.
Emily works with clients to help them find their own strengths and be inspired to build upon them. She has a strong clinical background and has worked on crisis teams, in day treatment settings, hospitals, and schools.
