Elizabeth Seabolt-Esparza
Welcome! I work with people who may be struggling with a variety of different challenges from grieving the loss of a pet, struggling with thoughts of the future in a world that seems to be falling apart, and people struggling with gender identity and sexual orientation. I offer an LGBTQ and neurodivergent-affirming environment. While I pull from gold standard techniques such as EMDR, Brainspotting, ACT, DBT, and CBT-I to address a variety of issues and symptoms, I take a collaborative approach to tailor our work together to best fit your needs.
I have over ten years of experience in the mental health field both as a researcher and as a psychotherapist. The first five years of my career was spent at the Montrose Center in Houston, Texas where I worked with the LGBTQ community as a psychotherapist and a case manager. This valuable experience urged me to take my career further by going into private practice where I am honored to work with members of the LGBTQ community as well as those outside it.
