Welcome,
First of all, be sure to take a deep breath and know that whether you choose to work with a therapist in our group or someone else you will get through this process!
Choosing a therapist who is a good match is not an easy task. At Copernican Clinical Services we have a wide range of clinicians to meet your needs. I would ask that you click on our website and review the backgrounds of all of our clinicians in order to determine who might be a best fit for you before we speak by phone.
Most college students appreciate the sense warmth and overall sense of connection that our clinicians bring to every conversation. They feel that they are able to engage with a skilled clinician who is also an authentic person who cares about them in a personal way. They also appreciate our ability to help them identify practical solutions to the academic and emotional issues that they voice in their first session.
Our wide range of clinical experiences in the field allows us to provide you with a clinician who will help you move through treatment with a sense of energy and a feeling that your strengths are both appreciated and enhanced throughout the treatment process.
We treat a wide range of issues using many state of the art intervention strategies that are delivered in individual, group, and family therapy sessions depending on your needs. We also specialize in helping students with organizational, writing, or academic demands by pairing them with one of our clinical tutors who specialize in supporting college students with mental health challenges address the learning issues that might be impairing their academic success.
We also support students and their families in situations where they are stepping down from a stay in an in-patient hospital or are trying to avoid a hospitalization. We have a reputation in the Boston area for managing such situations with a sophisticated and time-tested level of knowledge in knowing how to coordinate a team of outpatient treaters.
Our approach to treatment is holistic in that we use a range of treatment interventions to identify and address your needs in a personalized manner. We would be happy to answer any questions you have about our approach to treatment in our first phone contact.
Please be aware that our depth and breadth of skills has allowed us to develop a well regarded training program for mental health professionals that is highly respected in the Boston area. As such, we currently are training five different graduate level clinicians in our training program. Please feel free to email us at Admin.help@copernican.solutions, or call us at 617-244-2700 so we can answer your questions and help you find a solution that makes sense to you.
We look forward to hearing from you. Good luck with your journey!
