Brandi Walker
I spent the last seven years working with various hospitals, clinics, and schools conducting research on children with ADHD, their families, and various sleep variables and environmental factors of influence. I am a soon to be retired commissioned officer for the Army who has worked directly with veterans, service members, and their families for over a decade.
Additionally, I've proven critical to the development of initiatives and collaborations that are in sync with the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness programming. I maintain an earnest desire to further what is known about ADHD and provide therapeutic expertise and researched-informed support to families and individuals that are impacted.
I focus my efforts on training and advocacy on diversity, inclusion, equity, and intersectionality awareness and practices. I serve as chair past of the Diversity in the Military Committee, of the American Psychological Association's Society of Military Psychology (Division 19).
As an experienced, well-versed clinician, I provide direct care to individuals and groups via evidenced-based psychotherapy, training, consultation, and other services. I'm an expert in the assessment of complex adult psychological dysfunction across the full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses.
I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. Evernorth Behavioral Care Group is a behavioral health provider group in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth. For my availability, please reach out to Octave’s team by emailing or calling.
