Maitri Counseling Collective
As a former high school teacher, I have helped adolescents as they transition into adulthood. Now as a therapist, I enjoy working with individuals and couples through transitions of all kinds. I can help navigate the big life changes adolescents face, issues within family dynamics (family and marital issues), and issues that come with career changes and aging. I am an excellent resource for those suffering with anxiety, depression and BPD, especially those newly diagnosed with BPD. I am here to listen non-judgmentally and cheerlead you in your progress and growth while providing you skills and tools to get there.
I use a skill-based approach to help clients learn and grow in their emotional wellness. I also incorporate a lot of mindfulness as clients learn to name and express their emotions. Finally, I love exploring spirituality (regardless of belief system) and incorporating this into treatment.
Above all, I am here to listen. Sometimes we simply need someone who is in our corner and I hope to be that for you. I am queer-affirming and available to new clients, both in-person and virtually. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to get scheduled.
